Volunteer: Food Bank of Iowa UnloadingWhat the volunteer will be doing: unloading the Food Bank of Iowa order Sorting, dating and shelving food When they are needed: August 12 @ 1 pm September 9 @ 1 pm October 14 @ 1 pm November 11 @ 1 pm December 9 @ 1 pm The truck arrives at 1 p.m. The entire process should take approximately one hour depending on the volume of the order of the month. Must be able to lift 20-40 lb. boxes of product All ages welcome to volunteer. If under 18, must be accompanied by an adult. We will compensate for fuel and other expenses if you use your own vehicle.
