Who We Are
4-H provides all active youth with positive, fun, and hands-on learning opportunities. We offer clubs, groups, workshops, day camps, and community service activities for youth to become involved in. 4-H provides young people with skills they will use for the rest of their lives. While we typically are known for our agriculture and farming activities, we also offer a wide variety of educational opportunities in other areas like robotics, communication, food & nutrition, visual arts, photography, welding, and much more! We are always looking for volunteers to assist with the various activities and events we offer.
What We Do
4-H is made up of a community of young people across America who are learning life skills and are supported in this developmental process by caring adult volunteers. Youth in Kindergarten-12th grade may join Clover Kids or 4-H. Mahaska County currently has over 410 4-H members & Clover Kids.
