Who We Are
We are an all volunteer organization, relying completely on donations and volunteer work. We provide food and hygiene items to people who have a referral from a minister, SIEDA, General Assistance, First Resouces, DHS, Crisis Intervention, Salvation Army, LOVE INC, Mahaska Community Health, Veterans Affairs, South Central Iowa Center for Independent Living.
Food and hygiene items vary daily depending upon donations and availability.
What We Do
The mission of The Ecumenical Cupboard is to provide food and hygiene necessities to qualifying people in Mahaska County to the extent possible through volunteer donations and workers.
We are sponsored by the Oskaloosa Area Church Women United. Agreed to Differ, Resolved to Love, United to Serve.
