The Volunteer Iowa Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Mission: To engage individuals 55 years and better in volunteer service to meet critical community needs, and to provide a high-quality experience for the volunteers.
RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and older. Volunteers utilize the skills and talents they’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones, while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within their local communities.
What We Do
Volunteer Iowa RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) connects volunteers, 55 and better, with meaningful volunteer opportunities in their local community. One-on-one volunteer placement services to help find a good fit for an individual’s skills, talents, and interests that also matches a local nonprofit’s needs. We are looking for individuals to help their neighbors with transportation, friendly visiting, meal delivery, Pen Pal and other school programs, food pantries and many other meaningful volunteer opportunities.
