We need volunteers who are available from 7 am to 1 pm (or anytime in between) on April 25 to help make our 7th Annual LIVE UNITED 5K & YMCA Healthy Kids Day a success! This is a great event filled with fun, active and educational activities for the whole family. Everything from face painting to bounce houses to sports clinics will be happening in William Penn’s PAC that Saturday and we will need volunteers to make it all run smoothly.
Some activities a volunteer might be asked to do:
- Monitor bounce house activity
- Help hand out prizes as children win them
- Help with the cooking demo
- Direct runners along the path as they participate in the 5K or the Fun Run Obstacle Course
- Manage a “Checkpoint” and tell runners their task and the next direction they go
