United Way and our funding partners are ready to make sure every student in Mahaska County has the supplies they need to be successful this year. This event will take place on August 10 from 3:00-6:00pm at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds.

We are looking for volunteers from 4:45pm to 7:00pm to assist in the remaining time of the event, such as greeting, traffic control, checking names, distributing backpacks, and clean up. This shift will meet at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds at 4:45...

We are looking for 13+ volunteers from 2:30pm-5:00pm to assist in various positions throughout the event, such as greeting, traffic control, checking names, distributing backpacks, etc. This shift will meet at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds at 2:30pm...

We are looking for 20+ volunteers from 10am-12pm to help load backpacks into vehicles and transport to the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds to unload and setup. You will need a vehicle and wear comfortable clothing/shoes.
