Summer Lunch Program 2022

It's that time of year again! This summer, the Summer Lunch program will resume like last summer for the month of June as a drive-thru, bulk meal pick up. This will take place weekly on Wednesdays like last year. During the month of July, Summer Lunch will resume as a sit-down, on site meal service. The times of the site will not change. Most sites will operate 2 days a week. Please note that some sites will ONLY operate during the month of June. There will be one site that operates 4 days a week during July.

Mark your calendars! Summer Lunch starts June 8th and will run through June 29th. On site meals will start July 6th and will run through July 28th.

Description

Driver's are an essential part to the Oskaloosa Summer Lunch having the ability to have multiple locations in Mahaska County. With your help we can feed over 7,000 meals this summer. All food pickups are at the 1st drop off circle at Oskaloosa Elementary School in June. In July, all food pickups will be at the Oskaloosa Middle School at the back entrance.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50lbs (assistance available if needed)
Driver's License and reliable transportation
Large vehicle
