Want to help feed the youth of Mahaska County this summer?
We are in need of a Site Supervisor at the College Avenue Friends Church location. Please be sure your phone number is listed when you sign up. The College Avenue Friends Church location will operate from 12:00 - 12:30. Please show up 5-10 minutes early. The Site Supervisor shows up weekly to help ensure the site runs smoothly, keeps track of all food counts, and helps volunteers follow all rules and regulations provided by the State of Iowa. All Site Supervisors must attend a required training before volunteering. These trainings will be announced at a later date.
This is a weekly commitment but we understand Summer Vacations may arise. Please let us know the dates of any vacations or absences that you know you will not be able to attend Summer Lunch.
If the Site Supervisor is able, they may pick up the food from the Oskaloosa Elementary School and deliver it to their site before the start of the designated time. This may take an additional 15-20 minutes. A large vehicle/SUV will be needed. If pick up and transportation is not possible, please let us know this in the comments also.
